Astro recently augmented its laser cutting capabilities with a Mazak 2500 Super Turbo Laser machine with a load/unload system. We can now handle higher work capacities with this new addition to our fabrication facility.
While this laser cuts thickness up to ¾” mild steel, 3/8” stainless steel, and ¼” aluminum, we have found this machine to be most efficient in both speed and cut quality in the ranges of 20 to 7 gauge stainless steel, and 20 gauge to ¼ inch mild steel. This enables us to offer cutting in these ranges at extremely competitive rates.
